This is a very brief immigration role play that I put together. I simply cut out and assigned each student a different role and put them in groups with the different roles to discuss. This was after we had spent some time discussing immigration, and after they had viewed a movie such as Which Way Home. Before beginning the discussion they had to fill in a form that got them thinking about what the others in their group might say. I tried to make the language quite simple, but it was challenging for the students to discuss.
