This is a cloze activity based on the song “Latinoamerica” by the Puerto Rican hip-hop group Calle 13 with pre- and post- questions that ask students to reflect on what they know about Latin America. The song touches on all aspects of Latin American culture, history, and politics – the good and the bad. The music video, which could be played after the activity, shows beautiful landscapes and images of people and places from all over the region.
